One of the joys of our new St Mary's Alumni Portal is seeing the lifelong friendships that began at St. Mary's continue around the world.
Over the Easter holidays, the Davis family travelled to Japan, where they reunited with three other former St Mary's families for a memorable few days together.
Sol, Jin and Chaeyoon travelled from Seoul, while Asuka, Shintaro and Himari flew from London. Tomoko and Satoko and their family, who moved back to Tokyo last year, reunited with them in Japan.
The group met in the beautiful town of Hakone, where they enjoyed lunch together before exploring the famous Open-Air Museum. They stayed overnight, sharing a traditional Japanese dinner dressed in traditional attire, before travelling back to Tokyo the following day.
The celebrations continued with a special omakase dinner for the adults while the children enjoyed catching up together. After Chaeyoon returned to Seoul, the Davis family spent several more days exploring Tokyo and the surrounding area with Tomoko, Satoko and Himari, rounding off their trip with a Tokyo Giants baseball game.
What a wonderful reunion!
