RAISING £4,100 FOR ST JOHN’S HOSPICE

We were delighted to welcome representatives from St John’s Hospice to St Mary’s this morning, as part of a special assembly celebrating our partnership throughout the 2024-25 school year.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from St John’s Hospice to St Mary’s this morning, as part of a special assembly celebrating our partnership throughout the 2024-25 school year.

St John’s Hospice, which provides vital care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, was chosen as our Charity of the Year. Over the past year pupils, staff, and families have come together through a range of fundraising events to raise an incredible £4,100.

During the assembly, pupils heard about the hospice’s work and the difference that our contribution will make to patients and their families.

At St Mary’s, we believe that giving, empathy, and community awareness are essential parts of education. Supporting local charities helps our girls understand the importance of social responsibility and compassion.

We are so grateful to everyone who supported our efforts and helped make this achievement possible!
